Industrial Talks with Shopee

Career Development Center (CDC) working together with PT. Shopee International Indonesia held a seminar with a theme Industrial Talks with Shoppee with the point of subject Global Leader Program by speaker Yobita Laurenzia and Egtheasilva Artella as Human Resources PT. Shopee International Indonesia. This seminar held on Tuesday, November 14th 2017 in Universitas Prasetiya Mulya.

Shopee is a e-commerce platform with the highest growth in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. Shopee is a platform adjusted with the regions, to give experience both buyer and seller in safe shopping experience, quick by strong payment method as well logistic support. It also explained that Shopee has useful program for seller or entrepreneurs by giving education about layouting and photography skills for Shopee seller in small towns. Those program has purpose for seller out of town can be advanced like the seller in big towns. Beside that, there are Shopee Campus Competiton for students in college like business case competition.

Shopee also have the Global Leader Program that introduced to students in Universitas Prasetiya Mulya which is a 2 years master program consisted of four rotation placing, 6 month in Indonesia and abroad. This program designed for Indonesia youth who have talents, enthusiasm and high ambition. The participants from Global Leader Program will facing many responsibility to bring the Shopee project being the most impactful and have chance to working together with Indonesia team as well with the Singapore.

By conducting this seminar, the Career Development Center (CDC) hope it can be useful and elevate the leadership soul in every student of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya.
