RESEARCH INTEREST

Dr. Saragih's research addresses how various entities in the music business markets discover, create, deliver, and capture value. What are aspects that trigger or inhibit music producers to collaborate with communities? How could consumers co-create value with music communities or cultural activists? How should event managers entice consumers to participate in the co-creative platform? Some of the approaches he used were Qualitative Case Research Method, Case Study, Design of Experiments, and Structural Equation Modelling. Harriman is also interested in developing factual case studies from companies in Indonesia as an emerging market with his students, which can be used as a discussion material for his class in both undergraduate and graduate studies.
