Small Business Development Center is a forefront institution in the execution of community service that bases its strength on practical and applied business knowledge, social sciences , and applied STEM for the improvement and welfare of the nation. The Community Service Center plans, executes, and evaluates all community service activities by Universitas Prasetiya Mulya.

Our Programs

Small Business Development Center Program

Small Business Development Center Program is executed in line with the entrepreneurship competencies of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya undergraduate students. Through this program, students with their business partners from allocated villages develop businesses originating from the villages which include planning, executing, and monitoring. An evaluating mechanism between students and their partners are carried out intensively.

Service Community Empowerment

Community Service Center also provides SME’s community empowerment services such as cooperation with Badung Regency Government – Bali, cooperation with Tangerang Regency Government through Expedition Program of UMKM Kecamatan Cisauk and Pagedangan, entrepreneurship seminar and training for SMEs and students of school, certification of food (PIRT) for UMKM , brand registration clinic (HKI) for UMKM assisted, and economic empowerment for UMKM about campus through Social Week activity.

Agents of Change in Small Business Development Center Program

Builders

Builders as a group students relate with and accompany directly the Comdev partners in the program, and even live with them. Builders are responsible for increasing their partner’s capacity through the execution of the business activities.

Energizers

The energizer’s role is to develop small businesses in villages and escalate their marketing efforts through the use of technology or to reach a wider and larger scale beyond the village level.

Explorers

The explorer is responsible for obtaining pertinent information on a region’s potentials or attractions.

Enablers

Enablers are a team responsible for enabling coordination beyond the village level. They coordinate with various stakeholders at the village level and enable them to merge as one higher-level (kecamatan level) identity.
